I am seeking to fill a void. But it doesn't help that I am not easily pleased. The things that used to interest me no longer hold my attention. I am starting to lose motivation and focus. I guess its all apart of getting older. Your tastes and preferences change. You change. Lately it seems that I've been caught up in a sudden whirlwind of problems and events. The days go by faster than I can wrap my head around, yet I have not progressed. Sometimes I feel like I am sinking faster than I can swim. I am working hard as I can to get out of this rut but fruition is slow to come. Perhaps these are the trials laid before me that I must persevere. After all life is a test of character. I am definitely being tested...to say the least. All I can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

In case you don't know the story, local skateboarders nailed about 200 pieces of skateboards and wheels to two trees in front of the Blount Street Skate Shop near downtown and also hung worn out skate shoes to the tree branches in effort to showcase the efforts of local skateboarders and to honor fallen skateboarders, as well as create a work of art. However the City of Fayetteville is demanding that they destroy the trees. These trees promote freedom of expression and is just what Fayetteville needs to elevate itself from the mundane.
